"Ayık" alkol bağımlılarının grup tutum ölçeği ile değerlendirilmesi

Amaç: Alkol bağımlılığı, remisyon ve nükslerle seyreden biyopsikososyal bir hastalıktır. Remisyon sürecinde grup psikoterapisinin sürdürülmesi nüksetmeyi engellediği gibi yaşam kalitesinin artırılmasına katkı sağlamaktadır. Bu nedenle grup sürecinin “sürekliliği” oldukça önemlidir. Bu çalışmada daha önce kliğimizde yatarak tedavi görmüş ve ayaktan grup toplantılarına katılan hastalar “Grup tutum ölçeği” ile değerlendirilerek grupta bütünleşme, grup etkinliği ve sürekliğinin anlamı tartışılmıştır.
Metod: Çalışmaya; 1996-1998 yılları arasında yatarak tedavi görmüş ve halen alkol kullanmayan 32 hasta alınmıştır. Hastaların sosyodemografik ve klinik özellikleri yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile elde edilmiş, bu hastalara kesitsel olarak “Grup Tutum Ölçeği” uygulanmıştır.
Bulgular: Çalışmaya alınan hastaların %90.6 (n=29)’sı erkek, %9.4 (n=3)’ü kadındır. Yaş ortalaması 46.3 (ss=8.1) dir. Klinik tedaviden sonra geçen ortalama süre 8 ay olarak bulunmuştur (maksimum=42 ay, minimum= 2 ay). Hastaların %59.4 (n=19)’ü haftada iki, %25.0 (n=8)’i haftada bir, %15.6 (n=5)’sı daha seyrek olarak grup toplantılarına katılmışlardır. Grup tutum ölçeğinde hastaların gruba gelmek ile ilgili sorulara “evet”, ancak grup içinde aktif olma durumu ile ilgili sorulara “hayır” şeklinde yanıt verdikleri görülmektedir.
Sonuç: Bu sonuçlar ayrıca gruptaki etkileşimin “pasif etkenler” yoluyla da oluştuğunu düşündürmektedir.
The Evaluation of Alcohol Dependent Patients With Group Attidute Scale
Objective: Alcohol dependence is biopsychosocial disorder with relapses and remissions. Group psychotherapy in remission process is as functional to prevent relapses as to acquire a new qualifed standard of life. It is very important to render the continuty for attending the group sessions. The aim of this study is to examine the meaning of continuty, effectiveness and integration of the group by evaluating group attidute scale. That scale was applied to the group members who had received inptient treatment program in our clinic.
Method: We included 32 patients who received treatment in 1996-1998 and were still sober, into the study. The sociodemographical and clinical properties of patients were established by using a semi structured interview form and the group attidute scale was applied.
Results: Of patients 90.6% (n=29) were male and 9.4% (n=3) were females. The average age was 46,3 (sd=8,1). The average time of remission after inpatient treatment were 8 [month]s (max 42 [month]s, min 2 [month]s). Of patients 59.4 % (n=19) attended to the session for twice aweek, 25% (n=8) once a week and 15.6% (n=5) attended rarely. It is noticed that the patients had answered the questions related with attending group sessions as “yes” and the questions related with becoming active in sessions as “no”.
Conclusion: These outcomes showed the role of passive factors for interaction of the group members.
