Hemşirelik bakımının kuramsal çerçevede şekillenmesi, bakım kalitesinin yükseltilmesine katkı sağlaması bakımından önemlidir. Bu olgu çalışmasının amacı, Peplau’nun Kişilerarası İlişkiler Teorisi’nden yararlanılarak, suça sürüklenen ço- cukların bakımında terapötik etkileşim ve iletişimin yerini göstermektir. Bu doğrultuda 15 yaşında, suça sürüklenen, depresyon ön tanısı ile bir bölge psikiyatri çocuk-ergen psikiyatrisi kliniğinde izlenen hasta için, temel gereksinimler belirlenmiş ve hemşirelik bakımı oluşturulmuştur. Olgu Şubat-Mart 2018’de sekiz yarı-yapılandırılmış görüşme ile takip edilmiştir. Veriler araştırmacı tarafından literatür incelenerek hazırlanan yarı-yapılandırılmış görüşme formları aracılığı ile toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler Peplau’nun Kişilerarası İlişkiler Teorisi çerçevesinde değerlendirilmiştir. Hasta uzun bir tedavi ve bakım sürecinden sonra, kendi yaşamı üzerine sorumluluk alma kararlılığı ile taburcu edilmiştir.

The shaping of nursing care within a specific theoretical framework is important in terms of contributing to the im- provement of the quality of care. The aim of this case study is to determine the role of therapeutic interaction and communication in the case of a child delinquent by applying Peplau’s Interpersonal Relations Theory. The case under question involves a 15-year- old juvenile delinquent who had a preliminary diagnosis of depression and was receiving care at a child-adolescent psychiatry clinic. A total of eight semi-structured interviews were conducted with the patient between February and March 2018. The data were collected using semi-structured interview forms prepared by the researcher after conducting a review of the literature. The data were evaluated within the framework of Peplau’s Inter- personal Relations Theory. After undergoing a long period of treatment and care, the patient was discharged with a commitment to take responsibility for his life.
