Son yıllarda dünyada olduğu gibi ülkemizde de çocukların katılımıyla yürütülen çalışmalarda artış yaşanmaktadır. Araştırmaların artış hızı ile bu araştırmalarda etiğin nasıl sağlanması gerektiğine dair kaynakların artışı paralellik göstermemektedir. Bu çalışmada, ilgili alanyazındaki kaynakların sınırlı olması sebebiyle hem bu alanda çalışan psikologlar için kaynak oluşturmak hem de alanyazına katkı sağlamak amaçlanmıştır. Sözü edilen amaç doğrultusunda, çocuk hakları ve gizlilik, bilgilendirilmiş onam, hassas çocuklarla ve kurumda yaşayan çocuklarla araştırma yaparken dikkat edilmesi gereken hususlar, istismar, uygun dil kullanımı ve araştırmacı yetkinliği konularına değinilerek çocukların katılımıyla araştırma yapan başta psikologlar olmak üzere bütün profesyonellere bazı önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

In recent years, it is experienced an increase in child researches in our country as well as in the world. There is not a parallel relationship between the increase of child researches and the increase of studies about ethical issues in these studies. As it was realized that there is limited study about this topic in the literature, the aims of the study are to provide resource for psychologists studying in this field and to contribute the literature. For these purposes; child rights and confidentiality, informed consent, issues to be considered when doing research with vulnerable children and children living in institutions, abuse, the proper use of language and the competence of the researchers issues are mentioned and some suggestions are made for psychologists and all other professionals studying in this field.
