Şizofrenide Farmakolojik Tedavi

Şizofreni dünya nüfusunun yaklaşık %1'ini etkileyen, toplumsal ve ekonomik yönden bedeli en ağır ruhsal hastalıktır. Yazılı tanımları M.Ö. 15. yüzyıla kadar uzansa da etkin tedavisi ancak elli yıllık bir geçmişe sahiptir. Bu yazıda şizofreninin farmakolojik tedavisinde temel olan antipsikotikler ve etki mekanizmaları gözden geçirilecek, şizofreninin ilaçla tedavisinde temel ilkeler özetlenecek, tedaviye direnç durumunda izlenebilecek yöntemlere değinilecektir.
