Psikolojik Danışma ve Rehberliğe (PDR) Yönelik Mitler Ölçeğinin Geliştirilmesi ve Rehberlik Dersinin Pedagojik Formasyon Öğrencilerinin PDR’ye Yönelik Mitleri Üzerindeki Etkisi

Bu çalışmanın ilk amacı, öğretmenlerin okuldaki psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik (PDR) çalışmalarına ilişkin mitlerini (yanlış inanışlarını) belirlemede kullanılabilecek geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı geliştirmektir. Çalışma grubu, toplam 651 öğretmen ve öğretmen adayından oluşmaktadır. Ölçme aracının geliştirilmesi aşamasında madde havuzu oluşturulmuş ve bu maddeler uzman görüşüne sunulmuştur. Uzman görüşü sonrası ölçeğe son şekli verilerek veriler toplanmıştır. Geçerlik çalışması kapsamında açımlayıcı faktör analizi ve iki ayrı doğrulayıcı faktör analizi uygulanmış ve bazı maddeler ölçekten çıkartılmıştır. Psikolojik Danışma ve Rehberliğe Yönelik Mitler Ölçeği (PDRMÖ) 25 maddeli tek boyutlu yapısının yeterli uyum gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Ölçeğin iç tutarlık katsayısının .82 ve iki yarı test güvenirliğinin ise .76 olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bu çalışmanın ikinci amacı ise, pedagojik formasyon programında öğretmen adaylarına verilen Rehberlik dersinin PDR’ye yönelik mitler üzerindeki etkisini incelemektir. Bu çalışmada tek gruplu ön test-son test deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. İkinci çalışma grubunu pedagojik formasyon eğitimi kapsamında Rehberlik dersi almakta olan 58 öğretmen adayı oluşturmuştur. Araştırma verileri, PDRMÖ ile toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmen adaylarının PDR’ye yönelik mitlerinde anlamlı düzeyde azalma olduğu saptanmıştır. İlk araştırmanın sonucu, PDRMÖ’nün geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğunu, ikinci araştırmanın sonucu ise Rehberlik dersinin öğretmen adaylarının psikolojik danışma ve rehberliğe yönelik mitlerinin azaltılmasında önemli olduğunu göstermektedir.
Developing the Myths towards Psychological Counseling and Guidance Scale, and the Effect of Guidance Course on Myths of Pedagogical Formation Students towards Psychological Counseling and Guidance
The first aim of this study was to develop a valid and reliable instrument that can be used to determine the myths of teachers on the practices of Psychological Counseling and Guidance (PC&G) at schools. The whole sample consisted of 651 teachers and prospective teachers. Within the context of validity, exploratory factor analysis and two separate confirmatory factor analyses were conducted and some items were removed from the scale. A unidimensional structure with 25 items of Myths towards Psychological Counseling and Guidance Scale (MPC&GS) produced good fit indices. The internal consistency coefficient of the scale was found to be .82 and the split-half reliability was .76. The second aim of this study was to analyze the effect of guidance course on myths towards PC&G. One-sample pretest-posttest experimental design was used in this study. The experimental group consisted of 58 prospective teachers attending pedagogical formation programme and taking the Guidance course. Data were collected via MPC&GS. Results of the study revealed that there was a significant decrease in myths. Conclusions of the first and second studies indicate that MPC&GS is a valid and reliable instrument and Guidance course is effective in decreasing myths related to the field of PC&G.
