Araştırmada 23 pozitif semptomlu ve 14 negatif semptomlu şizofrenik hasta demografik özellikler, bilişsel ve sosyal işlevsellik yönünden karşılaştırılmıştır. Sonuçta bilişsel ve sosyal işlevsellik, pozitif semptomlarla belirgin olarak ilişkili bulunmuştur

In this study, 23 schizophrenic patients with predominantly positive symptoms and 14 schizophrenic patients with predominantly negative symptoms were evaluated in terms of demographic characteristics, cognitive and social functions. Comparative results indicate that cognitive and social functions are significantly more impaired in the positive symptom patients.
