Öznesi ve nesnesi insan olan bir alan olarak hemşirelik, insan varlığının olduğu her alanda, vazgeçilemez bir şekilde bakım verme sorumluluğunu üstlenmektedir. Psikiyatri hemşireliğinin bir alt alanı olarak çocuk ergen ruh sağlığı hemşireliğinin öznesi/ konusu, çocuk ve ergenlerdir. Öteki varlık olarak hemşireler, çocuk ve ergenleri ele alırken, sıklıkla gelişimsel, model olmakla birlikte diğer kuramsal yaklaşımları da kullanmaktadırlar. Bu makalede, varoluşsal yaklaşımın felsefesi ve uygulamaları temelinde, çocuk ergen ruh sağlığı hemşireliği uygulamalarına yön verecek kuramsal bir içeriğe yer verilmiştir. Bu bağlamda; tinin ve bedenin, sonlunun ve sonsuzun, özgürlüğün ve zorunluluğun bir sentezi olan, insan varlığı olarak çocuk ve ergenlerin dünyasının, yaşantılarının, deneyimlerinin, anlamlandırılması ve açıklaştırılması onlara yardım etmede eşsiz ve değerli olabilir.

The object and the subject of nursing is human existence and it has been undertaken the responsibility of care as indispensable. Children and adolescent mental health nursing is a sub-field of psychiatric nursing, and children and adolescents are the subject of this field. As the other existence nurses when dealing with children and adolescents, often use the other theoretical approaches, mostly the developmental model. This study includes theoretical content that will guide the practice of children and adolescents psychiatric nursing based on the philosophy of existentialism. It will offer unique and valuable help to nurses by showing them to make a sense of and clarify the world of children and adolescents, which is a synthesis of spirit and body, the finite and the infinite, freedom and obligation as well as their lives and experiences.
