Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Bilimsel Düşünme Becerilerinin Yordanması

Bıı araştırma, üniversite öğrencilerinin bilimsel düşünme becerisi puanlarının, alan, sınıf, algılanan anne tutumu, algılanan baba tutumu, algılanan sosyoekonomik düzey, akademik başarı, yaşamının çoğunu geçirdiği yer, cinsiyet ve öğrenilmiş çaresizliğe özgü açıklama biçimi değişkenleri tarafından yordanıp yordanmadığını belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemi, Hacettepe Üniversitesi’nden seçilen 715 öğrenciden oluşmuştur. Veriler Bilimsel Düşünme Becerisi Ölçeği ve Öğrenilmiş Çaresizliğe Özgü Açıklama Biçimi Ölçeği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Araştırma bulguları, bilimsel düşünme becerisiyle ilgili daha önce yapılmış araştırmaların bulgularıyla birlikte tartışılıp yorumlanmış ve bulgular doğrultusunda geleceğe yönelik önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
A Prediction of Scientifıc Thinking Skills of University Students
The present research w as conducted to examine w he t her the scientific thinking skills of university stu- dents were predicted by scientific study area, grade, perceived attitude of mother, perceived attitude of father, perceived socioeconomic status, academic achievement, size of the settlement resided mostly, gen- der and helpless explanatory style. The sample of the study consisted of 715 students selected from Hacettepe University. The data were collected by means of Scientific Thinking Skills Questionnaire and Attributional Style Questionnaire. The findings of the study were discussed and compared with previous research findings and some suggestions we're made.
