Bu çalışmanın amacı ailenin çocuk yetiştirme tutumu ile çocu­ğun anksiyete düzeyi arasındaki İlişkiyi araştırmaktır, örnek lem grubu, değişik sosyo-ekonomik seviyelerden 16-18 yaş arası 150 ergen ve bunların anne, ya da anne figürlerinden oluşmaktadır. Ve?riler, Spielberger'in Durumluk-Sürekli Anksiyete Envanteri ile Bell ve Schaeferhn Aile Tutum Ölçeği kullanılarak elde edilen korelatif ilişkiler ve her iki ölçeğin gruplar arası varyans analizi ile elde edil?miştir. Bulgular, bu alanda Türkiye'de yapılan diğer çalışmalarla paralellik göstermektedir. The goal of this investigation is to examine the relationship betwen family attitudes toward child-rearing and the anxiety level of the children. The sampling group consis of students ranging in age from 16 to 18 years from different socio-economic levels. Thetotal subject number is 150 adolescent and their mothers or mother figures. Data were analyzed with correlations between PARI and STAI scales and with an analysis of variance of each scale across three groups. Data findings are paralel to earlier research in this area in Turkey. Because of the pervasive influence of the traditional norms within family structure in Turkey, the adolescent does not show the anxiety level paralel to our expectation. Hence, we can state that adolescent subjects have adopted copying mechanisms towards the traditional family structure.
