Bu çalışmada, hipertiroidi hastalardan elde edilen MMPİ Şah'si yet Testi profilinin denek gruplarına göre ortalanmış kantitatif yapısının özellikleri incelenmekte, ve ferdî profillerle genel bir mukayesesi yapılmaktadır. İlâveten, gerek ortalama profilde ve gerek'se ferdî profillerde en yüksek tepe noktalarını oluşturan depresyon (D), paranoya (Pa) ve şizofreni (Sc) ölçeklerinde en yüksek fre'kans gösteren itemlerin ne oldukları ve kalitatif yönden özellikleri tartışılarak, test uygulamalarında, bilhassa, verbal şahsiyet test'lerinde kantitatif sonuçların yanı sıra, kalitatif durumların da ince'lenmesinin gerçekleri aksettirme yönünden önemine işaret edilmek'tedir.

In this study, the characteristics of the mean MMPl personality profile of hyperthyroid patients is studied and compared with individual profiles of the patients. The occurrence of three modal points at the depression (D), paranoia «Pa) and the schizophrenia scales in the mean profile is compared with the individual profiles and the presence of three, two or at least one clinical modal point in these individual profiles is also noticed. When the contents of the most frequent items of these three scales is studied, the importance of a -qualitative approach along with the quantitatitive results in using these verbal tests is stressed.
