Zeka ve bilişsel süreçler arasındaki ilişki

Amaç: Bu araştırmada akıcı zeka ile sözel ve performans zekayı ölçen WAIS-R (Wechsler Yetişkinler Zeka Ölçeği-Gözden Geçirilmiş Formu ile; yönetici işlevleri ölçen WCST (Wisconsin Kart Eşleme Testi); çalışma belleğini ölçen KUG (Karmaşık Uzam Görevi); seçici dikkati ölçen Stroop Testi TBAG Formu ve kısa süreli belleği ölçen GİSD-B (Görsel İşitsel Sayı Dizileri Testi B Formu) arasındaki ilişkiler analiz edilmiştir. Yöntem: Araştırmaya, 46 kadın ve 39 erkek olmak üzere toplam 85 denek katılmış; deneklerin yaş ortalamaları, 21.45 (±1.73) olarak hesaplanmıştır. Bulgular: Elde edilen verilere ilişkin yapılan istatistiksel analizler için Pearson momentler çarpım korelasyon katsayıları, temel bileşenler analizi sonrasında varimaks rotasyonu, çoklu doğrusal regresyon analizi hiyerarşik yöntemi ve yapısal eşitlik modeli (YEM) uygulanmıştır.İstatistiksel analiz sonuçları akıcı zekanın çalışma belleği, yönetici işlevler ve performans zeka ile ilişkili olduğunu göstermiştir. Tartışma: RSPM Toplam puanını en fazla yordayan üç test olan KUG, WCST, ve WAIS-R’ın performans alt testleri, benzer türden görevleri içermektedir. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda, iki boyutlu bir model önerilmiştir.
Between intelligence and cognitive processses relationship
Objective: In this study, the correlations between RSPM (Raven Standart Progressive Matrices) which was used to measure fluid intelligence; and WAIS-R (Wechsler Intelligence Scale-Revised) which measure performance and verbal intelligence, WCST (Wisconsin Card Sorting Test) which measure executive functions, CST (Complex Span Task) which measure working memory, Stroop Test TBAG Version which measure selective attention and VADS-R (Visual Aural Digit Span-Revised) which measure short-term memory were analysed. Method:The study was conducted on a total of 85 participants with the mean age of 21.45 (± 1.73). Results: Data were analyzed using Pearson moment correlation coefficients technique, principle component analysis with varimax rotation, hierarchical multiple linear regression analysis and structural equation modeling (SEM). Significant the correlations were obtained between fluid intelligence and working memory, executive functions, performance intelligence quotient. Conclusion: CST, WCST and the performance subtest of WAIS-R the three tests which predict the RSPM Total Score most, have similar functions. In the light of the findings obtained, a two dimensional model has been suggested.
