Akademi Başarı Düzeyleri Farklı Olan Lise Öğrencilerinin Sosyal Destek Düzeyleri

Bu çalışmada, akademik başarı düzeyleri düşük (lise) ve yüksek (süper lise) olan lise öğrencilerinin sosyal destek düzeyleri incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın kapsamına akademik başarısı düşük 320 (184 kız, 136 erkek) ve akademik başarısı yüksek 288 (196 kız, 92 erkek) olmak üzere toplam 608 lise öğrencisi alınmıştır. Araştırmaya ilişkin veriler araştırmacı tarafindan geliştirilmiş olan Algılanan Sosyal Destek Ölçeği (ASDÖ) ile elde edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde t testi kullanılmıştır. Akademik başarısı yüksek öğrencilerin akademik başarısı düşük öğrencilere göre aile ve öğretmenlerinden daha çok destek gördükleri anlaşılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular literatür ışığında tartışılmış ve bazı önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
The Social Support Levels of Lycee Students Who Had Lower or Higher Academic Performance
In this study, social support levels of students who lad lower (lycee) or higher (super high school) academic achievement were examined. The sample of this study consisted of totally 608 students including 320 students from lower academic achievement (184 women, 136 men) and 288 students from higher academic achievement (196 women, 92 men). Perceived Social Support Scale (PSSS) developed by the researcher was utilized in this study. The data were analyzed by t test. The findings have shown that the students who had higher academic achievement had higher social support level of their families and teachers than those who had 10 wer academic achievement. The findings were discussed in comparison to those recorded in the literature, and some suggestions were made.
